Step by Step Method to Share Your Location on Google Map
1. Open Google Maps
Start by opening the Google Maps app on your phone.
2. Tap the Blue Dot
The blue dot represents your exact current location.
3. Select Share Location
After tapping the blue dot, a menu appears. Tap Share Location to continue.
4. Choose How Long You Want to Share
Select the time you want your location to stay visible, from a few minutes to until you turn it off manually.
5. Select More Options/The App You Want to Use
Choose the app you want to use to send your location, such as text message, WhatsApp, Messenger, or email.
6. Tap Messages (or Any App You Prefer)
Select Messages if you want to send your location through text.
7. Enter the Phone Number
Type the person’s phone number at the top where it says “To.”
8. Send the Link
Tap Send to deliver your live location. The receiver can open it and get directions straight to you.
